Just for kicks
Training to kick is just like anything where repetition is the ‘secret’ once again. Slow is smooth and smooth is strong. Work on maintaining control of your movements so that you do not find yourself in the habit of ‘pulling’ power. You should also keep in mind how much power you put out. Learn to pace yourself.
Keep your movements going for a few minutes at a time and choose wisely when to add a touch of power.

In southern fist we tend to kick low to the legs however I also see the value of training a few ‘northern’ techniques. Evidently my predecessors did as well because despite popular rumor southern mantis will address these skills in a few training formulas. Its always a good idea to put in a few minutes training.
